  • Our rental package includes a professional quality snorkel mask, designed with a tempered glass lens for maximum visibility and a comfortable fit. The mask's adjustable strap and soft silicone skirt will ensure a tight seal, reducing the risk of leaks and allowing you to concentrate on the amazing underwater scenery. Each mask is equipped with a neoprene strap band to prevent uncomfortable hair snags.

    Snorkeling is a relatively low-impact activity, but it does require a certain level of physical ability, such as the ability to SWIM, FLOAT, & TREAD water for one hour with snorkel vest (THIS IS NOT A LIFE-JACKEKET. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM).

    Snorkel gear rental is available for individuals of all ages. However, for safety reasons, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied when picking up and returning snorkel gear by an adult over the age of 18. Please check with a staff member for more information on age requirements and restrictions.

    Rentals may be affected by weather conditions such as strong winds, waves, or storms. It's a good idea to check the weather forecast before the rental period and to be prepared for changes in the weather. There are no refunds for changes in the weather.

  • The dive flag is used to indicate that divers are in the water and to warn boats and other watercraft to exercise caution in the area. The flag should be positioned in a manner that allows it to be seen by boats approaching from all directions.

    When snorkeling in Fort Lauderdale, it's mandatory to display the dive flag when past the vehicle exclusion zone(small cylindrical buoys 150 feet from shore) to ensure the safety of everyone in the water and to prevent accidents or collisions with boats. Additionally, it's a requirement of Florida state law to display the dive flag while diving or snorkeling, so following this practice helps to ensure compliance with the law.

    It is also important to note that the dive flag is not a guarantee of safety, and divers and snorkelers should still take precautions and use common sense when in the water. This includes staying within a reasonable distance of the flag, remaining vigilant for boats and other watercraft, and avoiding diving or snorkeling in areas with strong currents or poor visibility.

Snorkeling can be STRENUOUS ACTIVITY and is NOT recommended or advised if you are unable to sustain cardio exercise for AT LEAST ONE HOUR.
